Caring like a Big Sister

Radiance: Don't cry, Starchaser, I'll make the pain go away. *smooches the bruise and patches it up* Feeling better?
Starchaser: Y-Yes. Thanks, Radiance.

Someone on tumblr asked me what kind of relationship Starchaser had with Princess Radiance so I took the chance to finish a quick drawing I had in my folders featuring the two fillies.

Radiance is like the big sister Starchaser never had. Star never met her personally until she was taken to Canterlot, at age of 7, to learn to control her magic outbursts. Radiance volunteered to babysit her during her stay and that’s when they became friends. Their friendship got stronger over the years, they share many interests and among all of their friends they are the only ones who never argued with each other.
