There is a loooooong hidden story behind this image. I'm just going to abbreviate a little and taking the spoilers part.

In this drawing Jamila, the Queen of Egypt, is leaving her sword on the battleground where the fight between demons and humans occurred. And in this battle she literally lost everything she hold dear, her peaceful land and people, friends, comrades, and lover. So from that day on she decided to be given as dead as well, since she's an Elemental creature she decides to not cause any disturbance and remains hidden until the rest of her life, which ended 7 months later because of a curse implanted in her body.

Her sword is larger than is shown here, it seems thin here because was much used and parts broke from last battles.

Other 3 days of work but really worth it.

very excellent shading and concept design, love how the expression is shown and the character was amazing...so beautiful and really conveys the feeling she was experiencing

Cool! Another interesting story, it's great =) Also interesting, where she find this sword? It's not in Egyptian style. About the character: as always, you great draw her face and eyes, it's good shows all emotions and feelings of Queen.
