Truth be told, the only reason I draw Rainbow Dash so much is because of her design (also for shipping with Fluttershy XD), in personality wise she disappoints me. But just recently in the previous episode, "Wonderbolts Academy", Rainbow Dash shows the attitude I've been expecting to see since the series started. I got to say I'm very happy with the change and I just hope they keep her this way.
So, after watching this wonderful episode I've gained inspiration to make a drawing based on it.
1. Wonderbolts Academy (S03, Ep07) was a strong Rainbow Dash centered episode. It was disappointing that Rarity was left behind for having a character centered episode of her own for MLP:FiM Season #3.
2. As a critique, I would have advised not having the rainbow-waterfall in the background, since it can (visually) confuse a viewer to Rainbow's flight-trail direction, between the rainbow-waterfall and her actual rainbow-trail from the very bottom of the picture. Accurate detail, yes. But a visually unecessary distraction/confusion for this particular picture.
3. On the positive, the easy recognizability the rest of the Mane Six, and being able to see their cheering, in the tiny-figure background was very well done.
4. Another critique would be Rainbow's Wonderbolt shirt. I would have suggested refining it from a short-sleeve shirt to either a sleeveless shirt (more accurate to the canon, and more aerodynamically streamlined) or to a full flight-suit (despite the opposite direction of the canon pony version). I also would have suggested adding Wonderbolt bolts to the boots.
5. Aside from those two critiques, you definitely captured the feel of "living the dream" for Rainbow Dash. It will be interesting to see if Hasbro Studios will do anything further for Rainbow Dash & The Wonderbolts in the coming Seasons #4 & #5.
I love what you did with her outfit here, and her friends all down there on the runway.

Cool beans.
