So yeah... I'm a little shipper of AppleShy, as it's called. I didn't expect to escalate their relationship so quickly but I had a little help from my friend ~

Don't get me wrong, Rainbow Dash x Fluttershy is and will always be my top favorite! No substitute! >8D I just like to experiment some other couples too once in a while (crazy, huh? welcome to my world XD). And Applejack is the only character, besides Rainbow, that fits Fluttershy.

2. The positioning of Fluttershy & AppleJack in this work is a good callback to your early work of "How about an upside down kiss?", yet different since you make use of Fluttershy's flight (or hover in this case) ability. Was that intentional?
3. As I have said before, I love your portrayal of "seraph" wings for your humanizations. It is an especially nice detail touch upon your theme in that we can see Fluttershy's legs through her "seraph" wings to see the she is hovering.
4. It is easy to 'ship Fluttershy with Rainbow Dash or AppleJack since they are such strong characters, which is easily complimented by Fluttershy's gentler (but far from weak) nature/personality.
Interesting how you mention the short connection of this work to the early one of Fluttershy dressed as Mare Do Well with Rainbow, honestly I didn't notice it until you had mentioned. 'XD
Yes, that's exactly why I can see Fluttershy with either Applejack or Rainbow Dash (mostly Rainbow obviously XD), their relatively different personalities complement each other like a puzzle.
